User Interface:
Shine Plugin App
APP PROTOTYPES
CONCEPT
Shine is a concept that was done for our Project Management class. It is a plugin concept idea that allows users and friends to locate one another at a large scale event, such as amusic festival. As the interface designer, it was my job to create the application mockups and brand identity Shine, which means to stand out from the crowd or “Shine”.

MAP
On the map screen, I created a modern and user friendly map that contains a filter for you to edit your on-screen results. Users can go here to find their friends, look for stages, vendors, or anything you might see at an event.
FRIENDS
In this section, I’ve given the option for users to provide a live status, find me,and message me section. Keeping it simple and minimal adds to aesthetics and easiness of functionality.

MESSAGES
The messages portion is very straight forwrad and made quick notes between users. I put a light background to emphasize the conversation bubbles. The intent was to be minimal and have easy an easy functioning design.
HOMEPAGE PROTOTYPE
LAYOUT
Using a very minimal layout, we were to showcase our product as a team. We wanted it to be sleek with lots of white space while being a website with high functionality and user friendliness.

LOGO
I wanted to build a logo that looked tech-savvy, powerful, and gender neutral. I chose a brighter orange and red gradient to give a sense of depth. The waves in the I represents volume.
The font choice is Moderna.
WIREFRAMING

APP PLANNING
I used this as a brief reference point and chance to play around with my layout before executing the full design in the early stages of development.
HOMEPAGE PLANNING
I created a quick site wireframe to help provide structure and content layout before building in WordPress.
