Logo Creation:
Seed
LOGO DESIGN
CONCEPT
Seed is a fictionally created news and media company. Seed determines the legitimacy of article citations and rates them. I created a brand identity package to accommodate these ideas.
LOGO
The name for Seed came to mind when I thought of the saying “Good seeds”, it seemed relevant and fitting.
A simple outline stroke in the shape of a Seed seemed fit best with this design. It is simple and renders at all sizes. The quotations represent citations.
The colors were to be vibrant and inviting, instead of the typical black and white news layouts you see.

PRODUCTS
BUSINESS CARDS
The idea here was to build two business card options. having clear titles, social media, and prevalent details were needed.
FIRST CONCEPT (TOP)
The first concept was to get a sense of balance with the logo by pulling in the social media icons and titles.
SECOND CONCEPT (BOTTOM)
The second concept followed a more standard business card layout. I created a honeycomb style graphic for the background to accentuate the logo and add a sense of depth.
BANNER AD
When getting ones attention, it is best to ask a question in marketing. Here, I’ve done just that, while following the same design theme. It’s simple and to the point.

MOODBOARDS/ROUGH WORK
STYLESCAPE BOARD
The intention in the stylescape, is to get on the computer and start playing with concepts and how they pair with fonts, colors, and image, which is what I’ve don here. This gave me some clarity in the early stages of the design concepts.

MOODBOARD
The intent of the moodboard, in this case, was to experiment with a few colors, fonts, and develop concepts.
SKETCHES
Quick thumbnail sketches to get the creative juices flowing and layout my ideas before digitizing.
