Backpackers App
CONCEPT
The purpose of this project was to design a login process for my application, Backpackers. Backpackers is an application where users can create a profile, match with others, and travel the world together alone or in groups.
Targeting a younger audience, I wanted to give the design a trendy and youthful appearance.

HIGH-FIDELITY PROTOTYPES

Here I implemented a simple login screen. Straight forwardness and familiarity were needed, as it clearly states the actions you will take to complete this step.

PERSONAL INFO
I created easy-to-use fields where users would input their personal data. Each field is sorted in a hierarchical order. It’s made short and simple so users don’t get frustrated.

BIO
Users can enter their biography, but optionally.

INTERESTS
Here you list your desired travel areas, pertinent data, as it will match others with common travel interests.

PREFERENCES
Here, users can apply preferences is the given fields. I’ve implemented an easy to use slide bar for ages preferences to avoid too many drop-downs.

LOCATION
Users have the option to enable ‘Location’ to find other backpackers in their own location, or in another.

PROFILE PICTURE
In this section, you can upload profile pictures and view them in the gallery slider.

PREVIEW
The finished product. Here you can review and edit your profile as it comes together.

CONFIRMATION
Here I created a congratulations page for users to go back and edit or move forward, this confirms your inputted data.
ROUGH CONCEPTS
WIREFRAMES
Here, I created some digital wireframes. The idea here is to transition into digital formation. This gives you a great reference point and saves a lot of time from fidgeting; you are given structure.
